A month is too long for my brain.
I have done jams before. Heck, I have even done a month long jam before in Pico-8 and loved it. But for whatever reason, this month I just didn't have it in me.
And that is ok! I am happy enough with what was made but I did not ultimately make the game I had envisioned from the beginning. I am suffering from a bit of burnout currently and I decided not to overdo it and be kind to myself. It is hard to make games all day in work and then log on and make more!
Features I had intended on making include:
- Having a shop to spend your wages in. Buy power ups, speed boosts, etc.
- Making a tutorial
- Having some dialogue from your boss at the beginning of the game, which told you all about how its your first day and if you assess a bag wrong, they will deduct your pay.
- Making way more art!
Anyway, I have had fun. Enjoy what there is! :)
